Adam Hazlett
Adam Hazlett

Principal and Co-Founder

Adam Hazlett is a co-founder and managing principal of Atticus Capital, LP. In this role, he helps manage all aspects of investment activities for Atticus Capital, including capital raising, deal sourcing and investment management. Adam has 21 years of real estate investing experience with the last fourteen years focused on institutional private equity real estate. Prior to forming Atticus Capital, he founded Victory Investment Partners and Flywheel Capital, Adam ran multifamily investments in the Western United States for Cortland Partners, where he built the market from $0 to over $600m in 2 ½ years. Adam brings deep institutional experience in investment-grade real estate acquisitions, development, asset management, and capital markets. Prior to joining Cortland, Adam was a partner in the Denver office of Schnitzer West where he helped lead all investment activity in the Denver region as well as capital markets activities across all regions.

Previously, Adam served as the Director of Finance and Investment Management at Sage Hospitality where he helped lead Sage’s investment and development activities. Adam began his real estate career at The Amstar Group, a $2.5bn real estate investment firm, where he covered all asset classes across multiple markets throughout the United States and internationally. Adam began his career as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal officer in the US Navy. Adam earned his MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He also earned a master’s degree in operations research from George Mason University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the US Naval Academy. He’s served on the Advisory Council of Colorado Succeeds and is active in the EOD Warrior Foundation.

Gary Brandreth
Gary Brandreth

Principal and Co-Founder

Gary Brandreth is a co-founder and managing principal of Atticus Capital, LP. In this role, he helps manage all aspects of investment activities for Atticus Capital, including capital raising, deal sourcing and investment management. Gary has spent 30 years in the Telecom sector working for medium to large sized multinational companies.  He spent over twenty years in Europe heading up network operations.  His latest role was VP, head of network operations for Central and South America and the Caribbean.  During this period, he was responsible for strategic planning, operational efficiency, resource optimization, and capital allocation, skills that seamlessly transitioned into his current role in the real estate sector.

As part of his latest role as Vice President and Chief Network Officer for Central and South America and the Caribbean, Gary oversaw the complex management and operation of over 900 technical and data centers. He brings with him experience from his tenure on the board of a real estate Investment fund in Eastern Europe. Gary did executive studies at IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland, graduate studies at Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University. He also earned a master’s degree from St. John’s College and a BA from Moody College.

Principal and Co-Founder

Stuart Till is a co-founder and managing principal of Atticus Capital, LP. In this role, he helps manage all aspects of investment activities for Atticus Capital, including capital raising, deal sourcing and investment management. Stuart has served for 30 years in finance and senior leadership roles for multi-national publicly traded companies, including Shell Oil, as well as C-suite roles in small to medium sized companies.

He has experience in Investment Fund management and real estate investment internationally, and recently redeveloped downtown offices into apartments.  In his last role he led transformations in finance, commercial, marketing and logistics for Penha Duty Free, a Caribbean retailer with 30 locations.  Stuart completed his MBA at Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University. He also earned a BS in Business Administration from University of Florida and a CPA from the State of Illinois.
